Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We also use localStorage — a browser feature that stores data locally on your device without expiry — for preferences like your cookie consent choice.

First-party cookies

  • Clerk session cookie — required for authentication. Set when you sign in; removed when you sign out. Without this cookie the app cannot function.
  • cookie_consent (localStorage)— stores your cookie preference ("accepted" or "declined"). Never sent to a server.

Third-party cookies

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only potential third-party script is Plausible Analytics.

  • Plausible Analytics — a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not set cookies or collect personal data. It counts page views using aggregate, anonymised data only. No IP addresses are stored. Compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR without a consent requirement.

How to opt out

  • Click Decline in the cookie banner to prevent Plausible from loading.
  • To remove your saved preference, open your browser's developer tools, go to Application → Local Storage, and delete the cookie_consent key.
  • The Clerk session cookie is strictly necessary and cannot be opted out of while using the authenticated parts of the app.
